Breathing Technique

Today, I'm gonna talk about the breathing technique, Singing with appropriate breathing techniques plays an important role throughout singing process. Without breathing techniques, we are unable to sing emotionally, technically, expressively to our audience or "to the wall". Thus, our singing will only left unnoticeable. 


When we are talking, yelling, whispering even yawning; we are only using small part of our lungs organ, so, our respiratory system plays an important part in singing as well. Hence, we need our large capacities of lungs co-ordinating with breathing techniques in singing. 


3 steps that you need to practice everyday. 

  • Inhale together with your mouth and nose as much air as possible slowly to increase your lungs and diaphragm flexibility.
  • After that, exhale as much air as you could slowly(do not hesitate after full inhalation, just exhale after that).
  • repeat the above two steps for 3 to 5 minutes per day.
You may feel dizzy and "bird seeing" at first few practice, this is normal process. As we are not breathing so much air to talk at normal time(when we are not singing). It's like bring up your breathing technique to the best. You are taking another steps towards the better singing experience, With this practice, you will advance your:

  1. Breathing smoothly while singing.
  2. Breathe in much air in half a second easily.
  3. Endless air to sing for few songs at one go.
